Dear Students and Parents,
Welcome back to school! We are so excited to welcome all of the students back for another exciting school year focused on collaboration, hands on learning, participation in the Liturgical life of the church, and creating so many more friendships and learning opportunities. This blog is for Mr. Miller's Middle School Science and Algebra courses. Unit overviews and content current to what students are working on will be updated weekly in the individual pages. The main page will include weekly announcements of activities, service projects, Middle School specific updates, and other general overview items including a week at a glance for major events.
The individual pages will serve as a resource for students and parents to see what students are working on and some websites linked to the textbook, online edition, teacher email, etc. The students will take down their daily homework in class as is announced and posted each class period. This website is not a daily homework website. In middle school, we are helping to shape our students into responsible and conscientious students who take ownership of their assignments and provide the necessary effort to complete any and all daily tasks assigned.
Any big upcoming projects, quizzes, and tests will be posted for students and parents to be aware and therefore able to support their students in preparation for these larger assignments or ongoing projects.
I am so excited to collaborate with all of the students and their parents to make this the best school year ever! I hope everyone enjoys the last few days of break and look forward to meeting everyone at the Middle School Orientation on Friday, August 30th. Schedule can be found here: Middle School Orientation Schedule
