Dear Students and Parents,

A special thank you to Mrs. Burks for her leadership in creating a wonderful week dedicated to our Veterans.  I hope everyone has time this weekend to remember and celebrate all of those who have served in our military.  It was such a blessing to pray together as a community today at mass.
This upcoming week we are inching closer towards Thanksgiving break and the closure of Trimester 1.  I am grateful for the opportunity to teach in a Catholic school and to work alongside the amazing team of teachers and staff here at Saint Augustine School.  I am especially thankful for my students and the collaboration of our amazing parents.

The Race for Education is November 17th. All students will be able to cheer on the runners, with the first wave of students beginning at 1130AM. Students and parents will be able to enjoy a barbeque lunch, apple bobbing, face painting and more. This is an opportunity to raise money for our school Science Department and have some fun! The activities will end at 3PM.

We have collected $1980 in Piggybackr donations and $1412 in donations being sent in through the school office.

If every family raised at least $145, we would meet and exceed our goal towards the $45,000+ needed to purchase new interactive Science textbooks for grades K-8.

Thank you for supporting our school, your children and our community...every donation makes a difference!

Picture Retake/Makeup Day is November 9th.

This day is for any retakes and if your child was absent at the original picture day. If you are selecting a retake, please make sure that your child brings back the original photo package, including envelope and all picture products to turn into the photographer.

I hope everyone has a wonderful and blessed week ahead!

Thanks,
