Standardized Testing Week - March 27, 2017

Dear Parents and Students,

This week, we ask our students to show us what they have learned thus far so we can continue to help them learn and grow here at St. Augustine School. I encourage you, parents, to not schedule doctor's appointments before lunch for the next two weeks, so the students are present for testing.

With the generous support and help from our room parents, we will be providing a healthy snack for the students during each day of testing. We will also be supplying water bottles for the students each day this week. If there is anything else that I can do to help support you and your student, please feel free to email me: jmiller@staug-md.org.

This week, we will be participating in a variety of PBIS and Character Counts activities to help promote kindness and to refocus our attention on the 6 pillars of Character that we strive to model and live out each day. Those pillars can be remembered using the TRRFCC! acronym standing for: Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, and Citizenship. I am looking forward to a wonderful week with the students participating in these fun activities.

Thanks,
Mr. Joseph Miller
