Dear Students and Parents,

    Although this is a shortened week, it is one of great importance and a special time for our school and church community.  As the Lenten season comes to an end, we are eager to celebrate the Easter season as a school and church community.
    When we return from Easter break, we will be focusing on our standardized testing and continuing the final trimester of the school year.  Our annual Science Fair will take place in the afternoon of April 19th.  If you are interested in being a judge, please email Mr. Miller.

Week of March 18, 2018

Dear Students and Parents,

    We had such an amazing week at North Bay and definitely looking forward to get back to our routine here at school.  As Spring quickly approaches, we are still focusing on the season of Lent and preparing for Easter.  We will have confessions as a school this Tuesday, March 20th in the morning.  Report cards were distributed on Friday, so remember to sign report card envelopes and return back to your homeroom teacher.  We will be distributing Honor Roll and Principal's List this upcoming Friday following mass. 
     We would love to have all current and prospective families join us for our SAS Open House this Sunday from 1:30-3:30.  I look forward to meeting with all of you then.

Week of March 11, 2018

Dear Students and Parents,

     We are headed off to North Bay tomorrow morning immediately following our morning gathering.  Please keep an eye on the weather and pack appropriate clothing and gear for the week.  The 6th grade will return on Friday, March 16th around lunch/recess time.  We will send out an alert when the bus departs from North Bay and the students will be picked up and sent home upon arrival at SAS. 
      The teachers will be taking lots of pictures, so follow us on Twitter to see your students in action at North Bay Adventure Camp.  You can also get more information and see recaps of each day at North Bay's website: www.northbayadventure.org

Week of March 4, 2018

Dear Students and Parents,

    The middle school had an amazing field trip to the Museum of the Bible and the Basilica in D.C. last week.  The students really enjoyed this time in prayer and reflection and such a great tradition to go each year to celebrate mass at the Basilica in the Immaculate Heart of Mary chapel. 
    Time is flying by and we are so close to heading out to North Bay for our annual 6th grade trip.  The students are excited and we are praying for great weather and a fun collaborative week with friends.  Please keep an eye on the weather to make sure that we are packing appropriate clothing and weather gear for the week.  I will be sending out reminders later this week regarding any last minute information needed. 
    Trimester 2 is coming to an end this week, so please check Power School for any missing assignments.  Progress reports will be created and reviewed over the weekend and early into the following week.
